The race.
The OS Bridge Run 8k takes place September 19, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The 8-kilometer race begins at 8:00 AM from Fort Maurepas, following a USATF-certified course that travels along the front beach and across the bridge before returning. A kids' half-mile run starts at 9:00 AM. Registration costs $20 for Gulf Coast Running Club members and $22 for non-members, with $15 rates for children 12 and under and $25 for day-of registration. All pre-registered participants receive race shirts, and awards are given across standard age divisions.
