Out of the Ashes Remembrance Walk - WV 2026

The race.

The Out of the Ashes Remembrance Walk takes place on October 11, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Hurricane Park in Hurricane, WV. Participants can choose between a 1-mile walk or a 3.1-mile walk. Children under 10 may participate in the 1-mile walk at no cost, with optional t-shirt purchases available. Race-day registration and packet pickup occur at the park. Proceeds benefit the Out of the Ashes Foundation, which supports families grieving pregnancy loss and infertility through care packages, medical bill assistance, community groups, and therapist-led training programs. A virtual race option is also available.
