Ovarian Cancer 5K 2026

The race.

The Ovarian Cancer 5K takes place on September 26, 2026, in Washington, NC, benefiting the Mucinous Ovarian Cancer Coalition. The 5K starts at 10:30 a.m. following registration and check-in from 9–10 a.m. at Pitt Street. Packet pickup is available Friday, September 25, from 5:30–7 p.m. or Saturday morning from 9–10 a.m. All 5K finishers receive a medal, and participants registered by August 15 receive a custom t-shirt designed by local artist Nel McLawhorn. Awards go to the top 3 male and female overall finishers and top 3 finishers in the 12-and-under and 13–16 age groups, presented at 11:30 a.m. Water is provided during and after the race. A post-run celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with food, refreshments, and live music.
