The race.
The Overdose Awareness 5k—Strides to Save takes place in Tyler, TX on August 29, 2026, and benefits community access to life-saving resources. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance. All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given for first, second, and third place overall, first through third place in male and female categories, and Run Club Recognition for the team with the most participants. The event is hosted by Dr. Ash Wellness Club to raise awareness for International Overdose Awareness Day.
