The Pacific Coast Triathlon takes place September 13, 2026, in Laguna Beach, CA, at Crystal Cove State Beach. Athletes can compete in Olympic or Sprint distances across multiple formats: triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, and relay teams (male, female, or co-ed). The swim begins in the Pacific Ocean with lifeguard support; Sprint swim is approximately 750 meters and Olympic is 1,500 meters. The bike course runs on closed roads along Pacific Coast Highway—12 miles for Sprint (two loops) and 40 kilometers for Olympic (four loops). The run follows Crystal Cove Trail and beach paths, covering 3 miles for Sprint and 6.2 miles (10K) for Olympic, with aid stations every mile. All finishers receive a custom medal, race shirt, and additional items. The event is USAT-sanctioned, part of the OC Tri Series, and supports local nonprofits.
