Paddle It! is a kayaking series on Lake Tillery at Morrow Mountain in Albemarle, NC, starting August 29, 2026, and continuing most Saturdays through September, with sessions at 8:30am. Participants use provided sit-on-top kayaks, paddles, and safety gear, with facilitators offering instruction on entry, exit, and paddling technique. Those with their own kayak may register for the BYO Boat option. Participants must be at least 16 years old, able to swim, and weigh no more than 300 lbs. Registration is limited and a waitlist is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
