The race.
Paint the Town Purple 5K takes place October 10, 2026, in Cocoa, Florida, benefiting Matthew's Hope, an organization serving homeless individuals and families. The 5K race starts at 8:00 AM from Matthew's Hope at 825 Forrest Avenue. Participants receive a race t-shirt and finisher medal (for first 200 registrants), with post-race refreshments and an awards ceremony following. Age group awards are given for divisions spanning 13 and under through 80+, plus overall and masters (40+) categories. Early packet pickup is available October 9th at Running Zone in Melbourne from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with race-day registration and pickup opening at 7:00 AM.
