The Paloween Hustle 5K/10K and 1-Mile Run honors Samantha Tapia, a Palo Alto College athlete and runner. Held October 17, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, the event offers three distances: a 1-mile run, a 5K covering one loop, and a 10K covering two loops on a double-loop route. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Performing Arts building. Entry fees are $40 for the 5K, $50 for the 10K, and $20 for the 1-mile run when registered in advance; race-day fees are $45, $55, and $25 respectively. Proceeds benefit the Samantha Tapia endowment fund.
