The race.
Park Ridge Santa Stroll 5K takes place December 12, 2026, in Park Ridge, Illinois, featuring a 5K race, 1-mile stroll, and 3-block jingle jog for children 8 and under. The event benefits Avenues to Independence, a nonprofit supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All participants receive a t-shirt and Santa hat; jingle jog participants also receive reindeer antlers, a bell, and a red nose. Race packet pickup with bibs and apparel begins at 7 a.m. on race day at Centennial Park Route. Early-bird registration pricing ends October 30, and the deadline for guaranteed t-shirts is December 1.
