About the race
The race.
The Patriot Day Color Run/Walk takes place on September 12, 2026, at 8:00 AM in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, starting and finishing at Broadmoor Senior High School. Participants can choose a 3.1-mile run or a 1.24-mile walk. All proceeds benefit JROTC program initiatives and academic scholarships. Registration costs $30 for early bird (through July 20), $35 standard (July 21–August 31), and $40 late (September 1–12). Participants who register by August 20 are guaranteed a t-shirt. The event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels to run, walk, or cheer.
