The race.
Paws & Pom-Poms Run takes place August 22, 2026, at Freeman Lake Park in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with a 10am start. The event offers five distances: 1K, 5K, 10K, 15K, and 25K, welcoming runners and walkers of all ages. All participants receive custom race shirts and finisher medals, with awards for overall and age-group winners (10 & under through 60+), plus special categories for best cheer spirit outfit, best team coordination, and top fundraising team. Cheerleaders station along the course, and awards are presented at the finish line. Proceeds benefit the TK Stone Middle School cheer team. T-shirt guarantee deadline is July 22, 2026.
