The race.
The Peace Officer Memorial Run on October 4, 2026, in Modesto, CA honors police officers from Stanislaus County killed in the line of duty. The race features a 13.1-mile half marathon, 3.1-mile run, and 1K walk, along with virtual half marathon and 5K options. Each mile marker of the half marathon, as well as the start and finish lines, is dedicated to one of 20 fallen officers, with their photos, agency affiliation, and end-of-watch dates displayed at their respective markers.
