The race.
The PeaceHealth Appletree Marathon takes place August 29, 2026, in Vancouver, WA, and is organized by Why Racing Events. Race distances include a 29.3-mile marathon, 26.2-mile marathon, 16.2-mile relay marathon, 13.1-mile half marathon, 5K, and 3.1-mile option, with virtual half marathon and virtual 5K also available. The marathon course is Boston-qualifying. A First Responder's Relay Marathon welcomes teams of two to nine members from peace officers, healthcare professionals, fire safety, and military, with customized relay shirts provided. The 5K takes place on a separate day and finishers can earn a BEAST medal by racing both days. PAL's is the race beneficiary. Water stations and entertainment are positioned throughout the course.
