Pemaquid Beach Triathlon 2026

The race.

The Pemaquid Beach Triathlon takes place August 23, 2026, in New Harbor, Maine, with a 9:00 a.m. start. Athletes compete individually or in relay teams of up to three people over a sprint-distance course featuring a 400-yard ocean swim at Pemaquid Beach, a 17.4-mile bike loop through Bristol and surrounding areas, and a 3.1-mile run on Pemaquid Trail. Race registration includes a cotton t-shirt and hand-made finisher's prize, with professional chip timing provided for all participants. Awards are given to top male and female overall finishers and top three relay teams. The event benefits Bristol Parks and Recreation, with proceeds supporting a playground project at Pemaquid Beach Park.
