The race.
The Pere Marquette Endurance Trail Run takes place on December 12, 2026, in Grafton, IL. Runners complete a 7.8-mile trail course through Pere Marquette State Park. Packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m. on race day at the park lodge, where pre-race coffee is available. Awards are given for male and female overall winners, male and female masters (age 40+), and top-three finishers in five-year age group increments from age 14 and up. Post-race festivities and awards take place at the lodge.
