Phoenix River Rat 10K Run 2026

The race.

The Phoenix River Rat 10K Run takes place on August 22, 2026, in Phoenix, NY, featuring a 10K road race along the Oswego River. The course begins at North Island at Lock 1, crosses the Oswego River via the Phoenix Bridge, runs north on Pendergast Road, crosses the Hinmansville Bridge at the halfway point, and returns through woods and along River Road to finish at Lock 1. The race is professionally timed and includes post-race festivities and awards at Henley Park, with food provided by Independent Pizza, Angry Pig BBQ, and Jennerations Bakery. Registration costs $40 through April 14, 2026, increases to $45 on April 15, and reaches $50 three weeks before race day; t-shirts are not guaranteed after August 1. Proceeds benefit the Schroeppel Historical Society. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course.
