The race.
The Pioneer 5 Miles Run takes place in Limestone, TN on December 19, 2026, as part of the King & Queen Series and Tennessee Running Tour. Organized by State of Franklin Track Club, the race is held at David Crockett Birthplace State Park with limited access to facilities. All finishers receive medals at the finish line, with overall male and female winners receiving trophies. A donation jar supports the Friends of the Park restoration efforts. No refunds are issued.
