About the race
The race.
The Pittsburgh Head for the Cure 5K takes place at White Oak Park in White Oak, PA. The 5K course covers 3.14 miles. Day-of packet pickup and registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with the 5K run/walk starting at 9:00 a.m. A kids' fun run begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by survivor and caregiver recognitions at 10:15 a.m. Event awards are presented at 10:30 a.m.
