The race.
The Platte River Trail 36 Hour is a self-supported fat ass race in Casper, Wyoming, running from 6pm on September 25 to 6am on September 27. Participants run a 3-mile out-and-back course on the Platte River Trail starting at Tate Pumphouse, with options to complete additional loops for longer distances. There is no entry fee, a 10-person limit, and runners must register by September 24 and provide their own supplies.
