Polka Pace Race 2026

The race.

The Polka Pace Race takes place September 12, 2026, in Havana, Illinois, featuring a 3.1-mile certified course that begins and ends on Main Street in the downtown area, running through Riverfront Park and along historic brick streets. A 1-mile fun run for children 10 and under also runs that morning. The 5K starts at 8:00 a.m., with the fun run beginning around 9:00 a.m. Entry includes a race shirt and race bag; 5K participants over 21 receive a beer ticket. Cash prizes go to the top three overall finishers in both genders ($50, $25, $10), with drinking glasses for top three finishers in age groups and medals for top ten finishers in the children's run. Packet pickup occurs race morning starting at 7:00 a.m. on Main Street.
