Ponderosa Polar Challenge 2026

The race.

The Ponderosa Polar Challenge takes place November 7, 2026, in Orderville, Utah, at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. Participants choose from eight distances: 10K, 13.1 miles, 26.2 miles, 50K, 50 miles, 100K, 100 miles, or 150 miles, all completed within a 52-hour time limit using a loop-based course. All registrations include three nights of camping; those running 50K and longer receive race weekend meals and aid station food at the start/finish location, while shorter-distance runners receive Saturday breakfast with options to add additional meals. Race proceeds benefit Arctic Rescue in honor of Lois Krotz and a trail maintenance volunteer group in honor of Tom McCabe.
