About the race
The race.
The Promise 5K takes place October 10, 2026, at Robbins Island Regional Park in Willmar, Minnesota. The 5K course runs through the park and around Willmar Lake. A virtual option is available for participants unable to attend in person. Proceeds benefit Children of the Promise, supporting vulnerable children and families in Haiti. The event includes pie, updates about Haiti, and Haitian-made artwork. Official timing and results are provided through the Glacial Lakes Championship Running Series.
