Pumpkin Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Pumpkin Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at North Elementary School in Poseyville, Indiana. The event features three distances: a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile run both starting at 8:30 a.m., and a kids dash for ages 10 and under at 8:15 a.m. The flat course begins at the school and follows Fletchall Street west before turning north on Lockwood Street and onto Stewartsville Road, with a turnaround at Ramsey Road. Registration is $25 before September 6 (or $15 for the 1-mile without a shirt) and includes a t-shirt while supplies last. Awards are given to top three finishers in age categories from 1–13 through 70+, plus top male and female walkers, top 1-mile finishers, and top male and female stroller participants. All participants receive a pumpkin from Frey Farms and entry into door prize drawings. Proceeds benefit Poseyville Boy Scout Troop 387.
