Pups & Pastries 2026

The race.

Pups & Pastries takes place September 12, 2026, in Cary, NC at WakeMed Soccer Park, benefiting Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Participants can choose from a 1-mile fun run or 5K distance, with in-person and virtual options available. The 1-mile starts at 9:15 AM and the 5K at 8:30 AM, with course closure at 11:00 AM. Dog owners may register their leashed dogs to run the Doggie Dash 5K for an additional $10 fee, with all dog fees supporting the charity. Finishers receive medals; 5K and 6.5-mile finishers also receive race shirts if registered by August 30. Awards include overall and age-group prizes across male and female categories, plus course record bonuses.
