Purple Stride 5k 2026

The race.

Purple Stride 5K takes place Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Tres Lagos in McAllen, Texas, with the 5K starting at 8:00 a.m. and a 1-mile option also available. The race benefits epilepsy awareness and supports children and families affected by epilepsy. Registration is $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1-mile race; 5K participants receive an official race shirt and custom finisher medal, with shirt registration closing October 17, 2026. Packet pickup occurs Friday, November 6 at Condesa Pilates in Edinburg from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Awards are presented to top overall finishers across non-binary, male, and female categories, plus age groups from 13 and under through 70 and older.
