Quarry Shack 5 Miler 6th Annual 10/31/26 2026

The Quarry Shack 5 Miler 6th Annual takes place on October 31, 2026, in Vintondale, PA. Participants can choose from a 5-mile run, 5-mile walk, or 5-mile ruck on the Rexis Branch trail. The out-and-back course begins at the Rexis trailhead past the closed gate near an old train, extends 2.5 miles to a turnaround near Red Mill Bridge, and returns on a closed trail with no road crossings. The route features 115 feet of elevation gain outbound and equivalent descent on return. A water stop is located near the turnaround under a pavilion. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. with pricing of $20 through October 4 at 6 p.m., then $25 through closing, and $30 day-of. Children 10 and under register free until closing, then $10 day-of.
