Queen City Striders' Iron Mountain youth running camp meets twice weekly for five weeks at the Kingsford Track, with sessions held Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m. The program runs from June 22 through July 23, 2026, and serves two age groups: Little and Big Striders (ages 5–8) and Dashers and Pacers (ages 9–12). Participants receive ten one-hour sessions covering running fundamentals, stretching, drills, and bodyweight strength exercises, plus a program T-shirt and post-practice snacks. The program includes complimentary or discounted entries to selected local races, including the Breakwater 5K on July 25 and the Turkey Trot 5K on November 26. Enter via Hooper Street south of Kingsford High School; the north entrance is closed for construction.
