Race Back to School! Methacton 5K Walk or Run takes place October 3, 2026, at Heebner Park (Valley Forge Road Entrance) in Collegeville, PA. Participants can choose a 5K trail course with unpaved terrain or a 1.5K fun run for children under 12. All proceeds support the Methacton Backpack Program. Registration closes September 5 for t-shirt ordering; race-day registration is available but without a shirt. Bib pickup occurs Thursday, October 1 from 5–7 PM at Tosco Pizza in Eagleville, PA. Awards go to top three overall finishers and top three in each age group; the fun run is unscored with all participants recognized. Entry fees are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run, with t-shirts available for $5. Water stations, refreshments, and snacks are provided.
