Race for the Crown takes place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly, Michigan, offering a 5K and a 1-mile Medieval Mile. The 5K starts at 7:45 a.m. and the 1-mile race starts at 7:50 a.m., both beginning and ending in Holly Grove Village. Packet pickup occurs on Saturday, August 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Complete Runner in Grand Blanc, or on race morning from 6:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at the festival's front gate. Registration includes a custom dri-fit shirt, finisher medal, Michigan Renaissance Festival ticket, free parking, chip timing with live results, free professional photos, and post-race refreshments. Overall and age group awards are presented to top finishers.
