RACE FOR THE GREENWAY 5K RUN / WALK 2026

The race.

The Race for the Greenway 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 25, 2026, at Hallock State Park in Riverhead, NY. Participants can run or walk the 5K course. Online registration costs $35 (plus card fees) if completed by October 24 at 5 p.m.; day-of registration is $45 and card-only. Guaranteed participant shirts are provided for those who register online by October 16 at midnight. Age-group awards include bottles of wine for top finishers over 21, with top male and female overall winners receiving a magnum bottle. Participants 21 and older receive race bibs for exclusive discounts at participating Long Island vineyards during a post-race wine crawl. Proceeds benefit the Long Island Greenway trail project and Harvest East End.
