About the race
The race.
Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful hosts this race to benefit their community recycling programs and initiatives. The September 19, 2026 event in South Beloit offers a 3.1-mile timed run and a 1-mile fun walk. Participants receive an event shirt. Children ages 1–14 enter free. Online registration is required; onsite registration is not available. All proceeds support the organization's recycling facilities and programs including medication collection, clothing drives, and document shredding services.
