The race.

Rails to Trails is a 5K point-to-point race in East Hampton, CT on July 10, 2026, starting at the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue. Registration closes June 28th for guaranteed race shirt inclusion. Bib pickup and registration occur at Center School gym Thursday 5:30–7:30 PM and Friday 4:30–6:30 PM, with shuttle bus transportation to the start departing Center School by 6:35 PM (parking available at the fairgrounds). Awards are presented following the race by gender and age categories: 14 & under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+, plus overall male and female winners.
