Description
Welcome to the inaugural Red Rocks Swimrun Challenge!
Set along the scenic shores of Lake Champlain at Red Rocks Park in South Burlington, Vermont, this unique SwimRun event is designed for everyone—from experienced endurance athletes looking to test their limits to newcomers curious about trying SwimRun for the first time.
The format is simple:
One loop consists of: • 250m Swim • 1.5 Mile Run • 250m Swim
Participants will have 2 hours to complete as many full loops as possible.
Race Divisions:
Solo Male Solo Female 2-Person Coed Team 2-Person Female Team 2-Person Male Team
For athletes chasing a podium spot, the challenge is simple: complete the most laps within the 2-hour time limit. If multiple athletes finish with the same number of laps, placement will be determined by fastest cumulative time.
For athletes focused on personal goals, adventure, or simply trying SwimRun for the first time, the format is equally rewarding. Whether your goal is one loop or ten, you’ll be surrounded by supportive athletes, great volunteers, and an encouraging atmosphere.
Expect: • A scenic lakefront course • A fun and inclusive community • Post-race snacks and socializing • Music and good vibes • A chance to discover why swimrun is one of the fastest-growing endurance sports
No matter your pace or experience level, the Red Rocks Swimrun Challenge is about getting outside, challenging yourself, and sharing an unforgettable day with fellow athletes.
