The race.
The Relay for Life of Posey County 5K takes place on August 15, 2026, in New Harmony, Indiana, with all proceeds supporting the American Cancer Society. The 5K run/walk starts at Murphy Park and includes portions on gravel along the river. Check-in runs from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., with the race beginning at 8:00 a.m. Awards go to the top three finishers in age categories spanning 1–13 through 70+, plus top male and female runners and walkers. A kids dash starts at 7:45 a.m. Registration costs $25 before August 1 or $30 after, with a race shirt included while supplies last.
