The race.
The Retriever 5k Dawg Chase and Fun Run takes place on October 24, 2026, in Baltimore, MD, featuring a 3.1-mile route and a 1-mile route. Both start and finish at Albin O. Kuhn Library. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., with the race and walk starting at 8:30 a.m. Entry fees are $20 for faculty, staff, alumni, and friends 17 and older; $5 for current UMBC students; and $50 for a family pack covering up to two adults and any number of children. Race day registration costs $25 for non-students and $10 for students. The event is capped at 250 participants.
