Ride FAR - Going the Distance to Make a Difference 2026

The race.

Ride FAR on September 19, 2026, at Island Lake State Recreation Area in Brighton, MI. Participants choose among three formats: a full virtual 75-kilometer ride completed independently, a partial ride combining 37 kilometers on your own with a 23-mile in-person ride starting at 10:30 AM, or a full 75-kilometer ride with the group starting at 9:00 AM. All in-person rides begin and end at Bluebird Shelter. The 46-mile full ride and 23-mile partial ride follow marked trails including the Kensington Connector, Huron Valley, Michigan Airline, and West Bloomfield trails. A finisher group photo and lunch are scheduled for 1:30 PM. Park entry requires a Michigan recreation passport or a $17 per-car fee.
