A simple fundraiser with a big impact

We're coming together, Windsor Gives, Athletes In Tandem- and you - to help make a dream come true for 10-year-old Cody, Windsor resident, by raising funds for a tandem wheelchair bike—giving him the opportunity to experience the freedom, joy, and thrill of riding alongside his family and friends. For many of us, the simple pleasure of hopping on a bike is something we take for granted. For Cody, it would be life-changing. While this is just an online fundraiser, we will schedule a community run and bike ride after Cody gets his new wheels for us all to celebrate with him!

At just four months old, Cody suffered multiple strokes and has spent the last decade overcoming challenges with incredible resilience. Through it all, his contagious laugh, radiant smile, and kind heart have touched everyone around him. His greatest joy is making sure others are happy, greeting everyone with a cheerful "Hi!" and sharing his infectious enthusiasm for life.

Surrounded by a loving family—his mom Brittany, an RN at Medical Center of the Rockies; his dad Jason, a firefighter with Poudre Fire Authority; and his little sister Harlow, his biggest cheerleader—Cody is never short on love. At six years old, Harlow's biggest wish is simple: to ride bikes with her big brother.

The family has been working hard to make that dream possible, but adaptive bikes come with a significant cost. Together, our Northern Colorado community can help give Cody the gift of movement, independence, and memories made alongside those he loves most.

Because everyone deserves the chance to feel the wind in their face and the joy of the ride. ❤️

We're looking to raise $8,000 to cover the costs of a new tandem bike for his family to ride together, with Cody safely in a chair, as well as a new bike for his sister. Windsor Gives will match all donations until we reach the $8,000 goal!
