Rise & Run for Recovery 2026

The race.

Rise & Run for Recovery is a 3.1-mile run/walk held on August 30, 2026, in Lake Villa, Illinois, benefiting the Lake County Opioid Initiative. Check-in runs from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with the race starting at 10:30 a.m. The event is family-friendly and welcomes leashed dogs, with a resource fair operating from 9:00 a.m. to noon and food trucks on site. Registration includes an event t-shirt and access to the resource fair; advance t-shirt pickup is available by drive-thru, with additional pickup on race day. All proceeds support the Lake County Opioid Initiative's work in substance use disorder prevention and recovery support.
