RISE UP! Run Over Cancer 5K 2026

The race.

RISE UP! Run Over Cancer 5K takes place November 21, 2026, in Rocky Mount, NC. The event features a 1K Fun Run starting at 8:00am EST and a 5K starting at 8:30am EST, with check-in beginning at 7:00am. Proceeds support the UNC Health Nash Foundation's Cancer Fund, which assists local cancer patients with medication, transportation, and nutritional supplements. All 5K participants receive a drawstring bag, hand towel, and wristband; event shirts are available for pre-order ($20, deadline November 4). Finishers earn individual awards by age group, a certificate, and their personal race time. Children 7 and under run free; ages 8–13 receive 50% off with an accompanying adult.
