The race.

Rocky Mountain Road Runners hosts a 5K and 15K race on November 1, 2026, at Prairie Gateway Open Space Park in Denver. The 15K features a handicap start system with runners released over approximately 50 minutes based on estimated finish time, while 5K participants start about 20 minutes after the first 15K starters. The 15K course includes roughly 0.9 miles of paved road in both directions; the 5K remains entirely within the park on crushed gravel. Race start time is 8:30 a.m., with registration and bib pickup available on-site—plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Parking is located along Gateway Road near the registration pavilion; the park entrance is accessible via Quebec north to Prairie Parkway, then left on Gateway Road near the I-70 and Quebec intersection.
