The race.
The Rocketkidz Triathlon takes place July 19, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for children ages 3–14. Participants compete in one of four age-based divisions—Falcon, Sputnik, Apollo, or Saturn—with distances varying by division. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each division by gender. Chip timing is used, with results determined by combined start/finish times without individual leg splits. A beginner division is available for racers requiring parental assistance, flotation devices, or training wheels; beginner finishers receive a 10-minute time addition for award eligibility. Entry transfers to other racers are permitted until July 15, 2026, subject to division availability.
