The race.
The Rocktown Adventure Race takes place November 7–8, 2026, at Massanutten Resort in Virginia. Grit Adventure Racing offers two format options: a 30-hour expedition race and a 5-hour race, both combining mountain biking, trekking, paddling, and rope elements. The course uses Massanutten singletrack and valley terrain with strategic routing decisions and rope sections. Teams finish at Basecamp at Massanutten Resort, where finishers receive food and awards. The race is USARA-sanctioned and earns points toward national rankings.
