Rodney Richardson Water Run 2026

The race.

The Rodney Richardson Water Run takes place September 26, 2026, in Hattiesburg, MS, featuring a 3.1-mile race and a 1-mile fun run. Both races start and finish at Town Square Park in the Historic Downtown neighborhood, with water stations and a finish-line spray from the Hattiesburg Fire Department. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 25th from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at RARE Design (127 Buschman Street), with additional race-day pickup from 6:00–7:30 a.m. at Town Square Park. T-shirts are provided to runners who register by August 7th. The 5K awards go to overall male and female winners and top finishers by age group; the 1-mile race awards the overall winner. All proceeds benefit Ddembe Ministries, supporting orphan, widow, and family care in Jinja, Uganda.
