Roopville Hornet 5K 2026

The race.

The 15th Annual Roopville Hornet 5K takes place on September 19, 2026, in Roopville, Georgia, with races starting at 8:30 a.m. The certified 5K course benefits the Roopville Elementary School PTO. Packet pickup occurs Friday from 2:20 to 5 p.m. at Roopville Elementary School, with additional registration and pickup available race morning at 7 a.m. Awards are given by chip timing across ten age divisions (9 and under through 70+) plus overall male and female winners. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners with entries received by August 22, 2026. Participants include a youth "Dash to the Finish" event with top-three awards and ribbons for all participants. Food and beverages including Pelican's Sno Balls and a local food truck are available. Students ages 1–17 receive reduced registration pricing of $15.
