Root Beer Family Fun Run 2026

The race.

The 9th Annual Root Beer Family Fun Run takes place September 19, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Soldotna Creek Park in Soldotna, Alaska. All ages are welcome to run, walk, or move at their own pace around the park; approximately four laps equal one mile. Registration begins at 10 a.m. on race day, with entry fees of $20 for adults, $10 for children, and $50 for families. All participants receive a complimentary mug of Kenai River Brewery Root Beer. The event benefits Hospice of the Central Peninsula.
