The race.
The Rotary Monster Dash takes place October 17, 2026, in Harker Heights, Texas. The event offers a 5K race and a 1K Little Monster Dash, with all proceeds supporting local Rotary club projects and Rotary International's polio eradication efforts. The 5K includes individual awards and guaranteed shirts for early registrations (deadline October 9, 2025); the Little Monster Dash participants receive goody bags. A kids' costume contest is also part of the race. All events start at 8:30 a.m. Packet pickup is available October 16 from 6–8 p.m. and October 17 from 3–7 p.m., with race-day registration from 7:00–8:20 a.m.
