About the race

The race.

This members-only open water swim takes place Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Robious Landing in Midlothian, Virginia. Participants may choose between a 1-mile or 1500-yard swim. All swimmers depart at 6:05 p.m. from the dock; arrival by 5:45 p.m. is required to attend the safety briefing and sign in. Swim buoys and bright swim caps are mandatory. Swimmers must sign out after completing their swim. Registration closes at 3 p.m. on the day of the event, and cancellations must also be made by 3 p.m. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
