The race.
The Run for Chocolate takes place on July 4, 2026, in Key Biscayne, Florida, and offers 5K and 10K distances. Participants can choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m., with coordinators available for three hours after the first wave. Registration includes a technical running shirt (shipped to U.S. addresses), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway, and a digital training pack. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal running apps or with coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is available for those unable to attend in person. Last-minute registrations are accepted up to two weeks before the race, though shirts may arrive after the event.
