About the race

The race.

Run for Chocolate offers 5K and 10K distances on July 4, 2026, in Camden, NJ. Participants may choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m., with coordinators supporting runners for three hours after the first wave. All paces and ages are welcome to run or walk. Finishers receive a race bib on event day, a technical running shirt shipped before the race, a finisher's medal, a towel or giveaway item, and a digital training pack. Optional timing is available through personal tracking apps or coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is also available. The Best Races will email final race details and course maps the Wednesday before the event.
