Run for Freedom 5K & Fun Run 2026

The race.

Run for Freedom 5K & Fun Run takes place October 17, 2026, in Aiken, SC, benefiting The Bridge 2 Home, a nonprofit supporting girls who have experienced sex trafficking. Participants can enter the 5K race or the 1-mile fun run for children ages 9 and under on a paved course through neighborhoods behind Odell Weeks Activity Center. Early-bird registration ($38 through October 4) includes a t-shirt; standard registration is $43. The 1-mile fun run is free. Check-in runs from 7:30–8:30 a.m. at the activity center. The 5K features age-group prizes for men and women (14 and under through 60 and up) with placements, and overall winners receive surprise prizes. A team fundraising option awards a prize to the team raising the most money. Water, snacks, and free entertainment including music and games are provided for all participants and spectators.
